Central Huntsville is the heart of the city! The downtown area features many historical sites and landmarks, such as the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and Burritt on the Mountain. Central Huntsville is also a great place for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and camping.
The community of Central Huntsville includes downtown Huntsville, the Medical District, Five Points, Twickenham, Lowe Mill, and Mid-City. With a population of around 200,000 people, it’s a vibrant, diverse area full of great dining options, parks, and entertainment venues. There are also plenty of educational institutions here as well. Central Huntsville is a great mix of an urban lifestyle or the peace and quiet of the suburbs.
You can often find The Miller Team spending time downtown taking in the beauty of Big Spring Park or attending a concert at the outdoor Orion theater. Our favorite restaurants are in Central Huntsville as well including Domaine South, Rhythm on Monroe, Purveyor and The Bottle. Touring the exhibits at the beautiful Huntsville Botanical Gardens is also a family-friendly activity that we enjoy.
